Sunbeam Carbon solar panel

Sunbeam Tough+ Carbon – The Ultimate Solar Panel for Canopies and Biminis

Maximize your power supply without compromising on the aesthetics of your boat or the durability of your canopy. The Sunbeam Tough+ Carbon is the first solar panel specifically designed to be mounted directly onto soft fabric surfaces such as sprayhoods and biminis.

Why choose Tough+ Carbon?

Mounting solar panels to fabric has long been a challenge. Standard panels are often either too heavy, which damages the fabric, or too flexible, which leads to the cells cracking over time. Sunbeam has solved this with an innovative carbon fiber reinforced sandwich construction. The result is a panel that is stiff enough to support itself, but extremely light so as not to strain the canopy fabric.

Key Features:

• Carbon Fiber Technology: A lightweight, high-tech core provides superior structural integrity and durability compared to traditional plastic or metal panels.
• Shadow Optimized IQ: Integrated microprocessors optimize the effect even when parts of the panel are shaded by the mast, boom or shroud.
• Sunpower™ Maxeon cells: With an efficiency of up to 23.7%, you get more energy per square meter than with almost any other panel on the market.
• Quick Fix System: Equipped with stainless steel snaps (Loxx) or eyelets for quick, easy and secure mounting on canopy.
• Tough surface: The award-winning, non-slip surface is extremely UV-resistant and lets more light through than regular glass.
• Seamless design: Soft, transparent edges protect the canopy fabric from wear and tear.
