How to shorten your zipper – Easy DIY Guide

If you buy zippers by the meter, or if the length isn't quite right, you can easily cut it and sew your own end stops.

1. Cut the zipper to your desired length.

2. Place a small strip of fabric across at least 3 teeth.

3. Sew a seam as close to the teeth as possible to lock the slider in place.
