Owatrol Oil – The Base Oil for Rust Protection and Paint Additive 1 l

The base oil in all of Owatrol's oil-based products. Used as a rust protection and additive in oil-based paints. Painted directly onto clean metal or directly onto solid rust – displaces moisture and protects against further rust attack.

As a paint additive:

• Can be mixed with all types of paints and stains that are thinned with white spirit
• The paint does not flake and is easier to work with
• The paint flows better – brush strokes and roller marks disappear
• The paint stays open longer for easier touch-ups
• The drying time is only marginally affected

Areas of use:

• Rust protection on fittings and iron
• Keel, keel bolts, anchors and anchor chains
• Engine mounts and other metal surfaces
• Additive in paint, varnish and stains
