Epifanes Rapidclear – Fast-drying varnish for all types of wood

Epifanes Rapidclear is a fast-drying and effective alternative to traditional varnish systems. It is specially designed for those who need to apply multiple coats in a short time without compromising on protection. The result is a high-quality, semi-gloss surface that provides long-term protection for wood on both boats and other weather-exposed areas.

Properties & Advantages:

• Quick drying: Can be repainted after just 5–6 hours (at 20°C).
• No intermediate sanding: It is not necessary to sand between each coat, which saves valuable time.
• Maximum UV protection: Based on modified alkyd resin with a highly effective UV filter.
• High adhesion: Works excellently on oily wood types such as teak and prevents discoloration.
• Flexible & Durable: A water-repellent surface that follows the movements of the wood without cracking.

Use & Base coat:

Excellent for refreshing weathered wood or as a stand-alone coat for a durable semi-gloss finish. Can be applied by brush, roller or spray (3-4 coats recommended).

• Pre-treatment: The wood must be dry (moisture content below 5%), cleaned and sanded with paper no. 180.
• Important: The product should not be thinned.
• Interior/Exterior: Excellent for both interior and exterior use.

• Volume: 750 ml
• Coverage: Approx. 10–16 m² per can (depending on the substrate).
• Finish: Semi-gloss / Satin.
