Epifanes Teak Oil Sealer – Protection for teak and hardwood

Epifanes Teak Oil Sealer is a high-quality sealer for impregnation, maintenance and protection of teak, hardwood and other oil- or resinous woods. It highlights the natural color and structure of the wood while providing effective protection against weather, wind and pollution. The sealer is particularly suitable for teak decks as it does not make the surface slippery.

Areas of use:

• Exterior: Teak decks, decking, bathing platforms, railings and benches.
• Garden: Excellent for garden furniture in exotic woods.
• Anti-slip: Recommended where you want to avoid a slippery surface (not recommended for indoor floors).

Instructions for use & Application:

• Pre-treatment: Remove impurities and degrease the surface thoroughly. The wood should be free of mold and have a moisture content below 15%.
• Application: Apply the oil "wet on wet" with a brush or lint-free cloth until the wood is completely saturated. Be extra careful with end wood.
• Finishing work: Wait about 10 minutes after the last application. Wipe off any excess oil remaining on the surface with a lint-free cloth.
• Drying time: Wait approximately 24 hours before using the surface.

• Volume: 1000 ml
• Coverage: approx. 10 m² per liter (depending on the absorbency of the wood).
• Thinner: Epifanes Brush Thinner for single component.

SAFETY WARNING: Contains linseed oil that oxidizes during drying, which can lead to heat generation. To prevent spontaneous combustion, used rags and paper should always be placed in water immediately after use.
