Epifanes PP Varnish Extra – Fast-drying 2-component Varnish

PP Varnish Extra is a professional, two-component clear varnish that combines extreme durability with flexibility. Specially developed as a sealer and build-up layer for all types of wood, including oily wood such as teak. Thanks to its fast curing, it is ideal when you want to quickly build up a solid surface layer on both interiors and exteriors above the waterline.

Properties & Benefits:

• Extreme build-up: Builds a lot with each coat for faster results
• High resistance: Withstands chemicals, water spills and heavy mechanical wear
• Versatile: Excellent for floors, tables, stairs, masts and door thresholds
• Wet-on-wet: Can be applied with a brush, roller or sprayer with only 4-5 hour intervals

Usage & Technical data:

• Mixing ratio: 1:1 by volume (Component A and B)
• Standing time: Let the mixture rest for 15 minutes before application
• Potential time: Approximately 4 hours after mixing at 20°C
• Drying time (20°C): Dust-dry after 1 hour. Sandable after 24 hours
• Intermediate sanding: No requirement if the next coat is applied within 48 hours
• Coverage: 2 liters covers approx. 28 m²

⚠️ For maximum UV protection outdoors, PP Varnish Extra must be overcoated with at least three layers of Epifanes one-component clear varnish or Epifanes Polyurethane varnish (two-component). Tip: When spraying, 10–15% thinning and a 1.3–1.5 mm nozzle are recommended.
