BHP Paraffin Solution – Make Your Own Topcoat

BHP Paraffin Solution is used to convert gelcoat into topcoat. By adding paraffin solution, a protective film is created that causes the surface to harden without sticking, even when in contact with air. This is a must when repairing damage to gelcoat where you want to be able to sand and polish the surface afterwards.

Mixing Instructions:

• Mixing Ratio: Add 5 parts paraffin solution to 100 parts gelcoat.
• Example: Mix 50 ml paraffin solution with 1 kg gelcoat.
• Packaging: 60 ml.

Note: Remember to also add hardener to your gelcoat after you have mixed in the paraffin solution to start the curing process.
