Admiral Fitzroy's Storm Glass

Storm glass barometer based on Admiral Fitzroy's (1805–1865) method of predicting the weather. A special mixture of water, alcohol and crystal salt in the glass tube reacts to weather changes – clear liquid in fine weather, cloudy with an approaching storm. The stand is made of beech wood and stained in a mahogany tone. Also includes a thermometer.
