Steerflex/Ultraflex Steering Cable M66

Steerflex/Ultraflex steering cables are made of plastic-coated R/F steel with a steel inner cable and a stainless steel extension arm. Resistant to ultraviolet light and salt water. Uniquely flexible and always easy to use. Meets ISO 9000 and EN 29000. Approved by Det Norske Veritas and ABYC (American Board and Yacht Council). Also CE approved.

The cable type and length are always stated on the outer cable. The length is in feet (305 mm) and is measured from the attachment point in the control box to the end of the extending arm when half extended.

Example A (Fig. 1)
Length = A+B+C minus 10 cm for each 90º bend + 30.5 cm for mounting on the motor.
Ex.: A = 50 + B = 250 + C = 80 minus 20 cm for 2 pcs. 90º bends = 360 + 30.5 cm = 390.5 cm
390.5 cm : 30.5 = 12.8 feet. So you should choose a 13-foot cable

Example B (Fig. 2+3)
Length = A+B+C minus 10 cm for each 90º bend.
Ex.: A = 50 + B = 250 + C = 80 minus 20 cm for 2 pcs. 90º bends = 360 cm
360 cm: 30.5 = 11.8 feet. So you should choose a 12-foot cable
