Return and cancellation rights
In accordance with the Distance and Home Selling Act, you as an e-commerce customer always have a 14-day right to cancel your purchase. The deadline applies from the day you received your goods. Otherwise, the following applies to returns and refunds;
1. Goods with right of return
You have the right to return goods purchased at seaside.nu under the following conditions:
- The goods must be unused, in original condition and in original packaging.
- The right of return must be made within 14 days after the goods have been delivered to the end customer.
- The right of return does not include cut-to-size or custom-made goods.
- Custom-made boat covers are not covered by the general right of return but have their own return policy.
2. Return procedure
To initiate a return, the following applies:
- Contact us at info@seaside.nu and provide the order number and which goods/items you want to return.
- We will get back to you with information on where and how to return the goods.
3. Check and approval
When we have received the goods, we will check that the returned goods meet the criteria for the right to return. In case of problems, we will contact you, otherwise we will start the refund procedure.
4. Refund procedure
If payment has been made via card or Klarna, the refund will be made through your original payment method. The refund period can vary by up to 5-10 business days.
If payment has been made via bank transfer or Swish, the refund will be made by bank transfer to the account specified by you. The refund period shall be within 3-5 business days.
5. Shipping costs
Return shipping in the event of cancellation shall be paid for by the customer. Return of incorrectly delivered goods shall be paid for by Seaside Marin.
Conditions for awning manufacturing
When it comes to awnings that are specially made for your boat, this purchase is exempt from the Distance and Door-to-Door Sales Act. We enter into an agreement according to the following terms;
- When orders contain individual requests regarding color, extra orders, etc., a down payment of 20% of the price will be due.
- For best results when purchasing original awnings, frames and fittings should be intact and in original condition.
- Before the year 2000, there was no industry standard for where awning brackets were mounted on boats. Therefore, original awnings for boats older than the year 2000 are delivered with loose eyelets or snaps.
- New awnings may initially be leaky as the new thread does not swell enough to fill the pinholes. The holes will seal after a short time and until then you should protect the interior and electronics.
Purchase of custom-made awnings does not automatically give you a 14-day right of withdrawal. Of course we are open to complaints, but please contact us first.
