Woodskin

Woodskin is a flexible wood oil/varnish hybrid that acts as a skin for the wood. Microporous properties mean that Woodskin allows the wood underneath to breathe; small holes in the lacquer film allow it to shrink and expand when the wood moves, but they are so small that the surface still repels water, which otherwise causes mold and rot. Woodskin is very easy to iron without thinning or sanding between layers. The surface flows smoothly and nicely to a slightly transparent, silky surface.
