WEST SYSTEM® Six10® Thickened epoxy combines the strength and reliability of a two-component WEST SYSTEM epoxy with comfortable mixing in the spout. The self-dosing coaxial cartridge dispenses hole-filling structural epoxy that binds wood, metal, fiberglass and concrete. The tube comes with a static mixer so you can apply a strictly thickened epoxy with a standard sealant gun.
The shear thinning properties of WEST SYSTEM Six10 make it 'thinner' when working. In use, it can be easily formed into a solid strand or used to wet slightly to moderately reinforcing materials such as fiberglass.
Technically, the hardener has a long open time but hardens quickly. This means that WEST SYSTEM Six10 can be machined in the static mixer longer (42 minutes), which in turn makes it practical for long or complicated assemblies.
