Saba is a cotton-wrapped polyester sewing thread.It is made from fibers with extra high tenacity. This is a very suitable thread for making awnings and the like.
The polyester makes the thread very colorfast. However, it is still worth pointing out that all thread, regardless of brand, fades over time, at different speeds and to different degrees depending on the environment. The color samples on the page are not 100% accurate but give a good indication of the color.
All Saba thread is certified according to Öko-tex 100, product class 1.The number 30 indicates the thickness/coarseness of the sewing thread. A lower number means a thicker/coarser thread and a higher number indicates a thinner thread. Recommended needle size is Nm 110-130.
