Perfect during night sailings for those who want to save on the battery, or for those who do not have a battery. The lanterns are powered by a standard 1.5V flashlight battery that is placed under the lamp housing. When the lamp housing has been screwed firmly into the bottom, the lantern lights up. The spare lanterns are only supplied as a set, complete with holder and reflector.
